Control panels stolen from a tractor in Utena district

A man's statement about a theft in Daugailių municipality has been received by the Utena District Police Headquarters.

„The control panels of a roller press and a bale wrapper were stolen from a tractor in the yard of a dwelling house,“, – the officials report.

Property damage is estimated at €1,700. A pre-trial investigation has been opened in connection with the theft.

„Whoever steals someone else's property is punishable by public work or a fine, or by restriction of liberty, or by arrest, or by imprisonment for a term of up to three years“,– according to the Criminal Code.
