Fuck you, farmers, higher taxes! And who wasted 700 million euros (VIDEO)

It is clear that the tax changes, if approved by the Seimas on 10 June, will not only hit all businesses in the country hard, but will also hit farmers particularly hard.

In a traditional interview with „Agrobite play“ editor-in-chief Gediminas Stanišauskas, Valdemaras Jacikas, businessman and founder of „Agrobond“, gave some alarming figures showing how much the tax burden would increase for farmers.

„I tried to calculate the tax changes for one real working farm, how much it paid in taxes in 2024 and how much it would have to pay after the tax changes“, – said Mr. Jacik, adding that by knowing the numbers, certain actions can be taken to reduce this burden.

V. Jacik provided information on a farm of around 350 ha, renting 150 ha.

This farm had an annual income of €340 000 for the year 2024, with production costs of €225 000, interest of €20 000 and operating profit of €96 000. Such a farm would have paid €29,740 in taxes, excluding VAT. After the changes, the tax will amount to €52,500, excluding VAT.

We talked to Mr Valdemar not only about this, but also about the behaviour of politicians, and in particular of „Nemunas aušros“, in the vote on the amendment of the Property Tax, as well as about the embezzlement of €700 million in budgetary funds identified by the State Audit Office. It is precisely these euros that the government declares are sorely lacking for defence.
