Police investigate who destroyed almost 2 ha of oilseed rape in Šiauliai district
In the second half of April, police opened a pre-trial investigation into the destruction of property after an agricultural plot with rapeseed crops in Šiauliai district was vandalised.
On Tuesday, Šiauliai County Police reported that between 19 and 22 April, an unidentified vehicle deliberately drove over a 1.7 hectare agricultural plot belonging to a man born in 1978 in the Meškuičiai district, destroying a winter rapeseed crop.
The property damage amounts to EUR 3.3 thousand and officials have opened a pre-trial investigation for destruction or damage to property.
