Tractor stolen from a farmer in Marijampolė - losses in the thousands

A farmer in the village of Užupiai, in the municipality of Marijampolė, lost his tractor. He contacted the police on 30 March.

According to the man, the tractor MTZ-82 disappeared between the evening of 29 March and midday on 30 March. He had kept the machine on his property.

The loss is estimated at around €6,700. Such a loss on the farm is particularly unpleasant as the machinery is needed for daily work in spring.

An investigation has been launched into the theft, and officials are investigating the circumstances and searching for the tractor.
