Who lies about milk prices? Farmers no longer trust the institutions (VIDEO)

Farmers are outraged at the average milk prices published by the State Agricultural Data Centre, which, if the body is to be believed, have increased, while dairy farmers are outraged that this is absolutely untrue. Prices have been falling for months in a row and it is no longer possible for farms to survive.

„There are problems with these calculators, but these are European Union standards, methodologies that unfortunately do not correspond to reality“, – admits Valius Ąžuolas, Member of the Seimas, who was interviewed by Gediminas Stanišauskas, Editor-in-Chief of the Agrobite play“Agrobite play“ channel.

But it is not only the unfairness of purchase prices that undermines trust in the state and institutions.

The promised support for farmers is so far more limited to loans, new credit loops, but not direct support. Why is this the case and how can this trust in the institutions be restored when new scandals in the agricultural institutions encourage farmers to expect nothing good from the future.
