On 27 June, the largest tractor parade in Lithuania was organised in Kretinga to mark Lithuania’s exceptional achievement. At any one time, 50 tractors took part in the parade, with a combined rated engine power of 11,410 AG.

The parade participants, marked with special registration plates, set off from Kretinga Town Hall Square in a single convoy and covered a route of around 13 kilometres to the village of Genčų Medsėdžiai (Kretinga district). The convoy of tractors moved continuously along the entire route.

This remarkable achievement for Lithuania was organised by the agricultural machinery and services company “Dotnuva Baltic” in collaboration with farmers Monika and Raimondas Pareigiai. The collaboration between the company and the farmers has been ongoing for several years. During this time, a strong bond based on trust has developed, which has grown into a major regional celebration, bringing together the agricultural community and dedicated to Lithuania’s exceptional achievement.

A convoy of tractors arrived in the village of Genčų Medsėdžiai, where a huge RM.Ūkio festival was later held. Here, visitors were able to familiarise themselves with modern agricultural machinery, take part in various activities, win prizes for the whole family, and sample beef products grown by the Pareigiai family and other local producers. The festival attracted a large crowd of guests and continued until the evening.

Organised for the third year running by farmers Monika and Raimondas Pareigiai, with UAB ”Dotnuva Baltic”, has become a unique celebration for the agricultural community, machinery enthusiasts and local residents, bringing together participants and guests from various regions of Lithuania.
