One of the country's largest dairy processing companies „Pieno žvaigždės“ made a net profit of EUR 0.2 million in the first quarter of this year, 11 times less than the same period last year (EUR 2.2 million).
The company's sales revenue grew by 15% to EUR 52.3 million (EUR 45.6 million) in January-March, according to unaudited figures, „Pieno žvaigždės“ reported on Wednesday via „Nasdaq“ Vilnius Stock Exchange.
In comparison to 2023, the company's net profit fell 24% to €13.255 million (€13.255 million in 2023), pre-tax profit fell 29% to €11.11 million (€15.621 million), and earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) was €18.1 million (€23 million).
The company's audited revenue last year was €210.4 million, up 4.6% on the previous year's figure of €201.1 million.
The company is headquartered in Vilnius with branches in Mažeikiai, Pasvalys, Kaunas and Panevėžys.
„Pieno žvaigždžių“ shares are listed on the „Nasdaq“ Official List of Vilnius Stock Exchange.
