French wine and spirits giant „Pernod Ricard“ has cut its revenue by 3% year-on-year in the third quarter of its financial year, confirming its previously announced forecasts for the full year

According to the announcement, sales revenue for the January-March period amounted to €2.278 billion, also down 3 percent organically.

Revenues in the US grew by 2 percent, in Europe – declined by 7 percent, in China – by 5 percent, and in India – increased by 1 percent.

The company continues to expect revenue to decline by 1 to 3 per cent for the full financial year.

The brand portfolio of „Pernod Ricard“, which was founded in 1975, includes „Martell“ cognac, „Chivas Regal“, „Jameson“, „Ballantine“ and „Ballantine“ whiskies;, „Absolut“ vodka, „Olmeca“ tequila, „Havana Club“ rum, „Beefeater“ gin, „Malibu“ liqueur, „Mumm“ champagne, „Mumm“ and „Perrier Jouet“.

„Pernod Ricard“ products are distributed in more than 160 countries.
