Sustainable agriculture innovators in the middle of Lithuania (VIDEO)

You would hardly find a farmer or gardener who is not aware of „Biodinamikos“ liquid organic fertiliser „Agrolinija-S“, which is a purely Lithuanian product. Artūras Vasiljevas, director of UAB „Biodinamika“, recalls that the company has been producing organic fertiliser products since 2014, and its path to the market was, so to speak, Lithuanian – from distrust to full acceptance.

„It used to be that we would produce granular fertiliser and take it in big bags to farmers, offering them free trials. Some of them laughed at us, but today we couldn't even meet the entire market demand because we wouldn't have enough raw material to produce all the products“, &bdash; at the exhibition „What will you sow... 2025“, A. Vasiljevas described the history of the company.

According to Vasiljevas, all the raw materials are of Lithuanian origin, as they come from the company's shareholder, – an agricultural company that keeps beef cattle in the Kaišiadorys district.

„Advanced technologies have been introduced to turn manure into compost. We do not use any chemical agents to stimulate the composting process. Everything happens naturally," says Vasiljevas.
