In Estonia, milk purchase prices have increased by 23% year-on-year.

The average purchase price of milk in Estonia last month was 22.9% higher than in February last year at €524.5 per tonne, according to the national statistics office.

Prices rose by an average of 3.1 per cent during the month (February compared to January). Buying-in volumes fell by 8.5 per cent on the month and by 2.9 per cent on the year to 70.8 thousand tonnes.

The average fat content of milk bought in last month was 3.9 percent and the average protein content 3.5 percent. The former remained stable over the year, while the latter increased by 0.1 percentage points.
