Artificial intelligence and precision in the field: CNH wins three prestigious AE50 awards

Case IH Early Riser® 2160.

The US Society for Agricultural and Biological Engineering (ASABE) has awarded CNH's three agricultural technologies the AE50 Awards, which annually recognise the 50 most innovative solutions for the agricultural and food production sectors.

The awarded technologies are commercially available through the Case IH brand and are integrated into the Case IH FieldOps digital farm management platform, providing real-time data analytics, fleet management and remote support.

The first technology to receive an ASABE award is Seedbed Sense Speed Control technology for the Case IH Tiger-Mate 255 cultivator, which monitors seedbed condition in real time and automatically adjusts tractor speed. The system enables speeds of up to 16 km/h, maintains a smooth ride over the soil surface and improves seeding quality.

Another award went to the Draft Tube Free Toolbar System solution on the Case IH Early Riser 2160. It is the first design with such a large working width and, thanks to its reduced weight, allows for reduced soil compaction, shorter transport times and drilling speeds of up to 16 km/h.

Third winner – Case IH SenseApply™ technology. It uses cameras and artificial intelligence to detect crop conditions and is designed for „Green-on-Brown“ spot spraying. The system automatically adjusts spray rates, reduces herbicide and water consumption and supports up to 5 modes of operation.

These technologies were unveiled at Agritechnica 2025, where CNH confirmed its focus on deploying AI, automation and precision farming solutions throughout the entire crop production cycle.
