The cheapest food products rose by 0.5% in February.

A basket of the cheapest food products in Lithuanian shops in February cost 0.5% (EUR 0.33) more than in January and 3.6% (EUR 2.45) more than a year ago, according to the latest analysis published on Tuesday by the price tracking portal pricer.lt and analysis.

In February 2025, the price of the basket rose by 18.2% (€10.93) compared to February 2022, the portal said. 

69,97 euro (€2,43 cheaper), „Rimi“ – 72,9 euro (€1,71 more), „e-Rimi“ – 74,42 euro (€2,31 more), „Iki“ – 80,01 euro (€0,31 less), „Last Mile“ – 83,11 euro (€1,29 more).

Popular and well-known products saw their average basket prices increase by 2.3% (€1.46) over the month and by 11% (€6.54) over the year.

Of the 52 products monitored by pricer.LT, 36 increased in price and 14 decreased. The prices of two more goods remained stable.

The most expensive goods – cheapest apples, black chocolate „Crown“, cheapest dark chocolate, cheapest yoghurt, cheapest tomatoes, cheapest ground roasted coffee, ground coffee „Jacobs Kronung“, herring fillets „Zigmas“, hen's eggs.
